Ashley Devonshire, Psy.D., Owner
I know how overwhelming it can feel when your child is struggling. Whether it's falling behind in school, trouble focusing, or behaviors that seem confusing, it can be hard to know where to turn. My role is to provide compassionate, thorough evaluations that uncover the reasons behind your child’s challenges and highlight their strengths. With my background in both teaching and clinical practice, I'm able to bridge the gap between home, school, and healthcare, giving families clarity and direction!

Neuropsychological
Evaluations
Thorough evaluations that answer questions about your child’s learning, attention, cognitive skills, memory, as well as social and emotional development. My goal is to uncover both areas of difficulty and areas of strength, so you have the full picture of your child’s needs.
Neurodevelopmental Evaluations
Comprehensive evaluations give us a clear picture of how your child’s brain is developing: how they learn, think, behave, interact with others, and handle everyday life. This understanding helps guide early intervention services and provides practical recommendations for home and school.

Should I consider an assessment for my child?
If your child is struggling in any of these areas, an assessment can help provide clarity and direction:
-
Attention and focus (ADHD)
 -
Developmental concerns or autism in young children
 -
Learning differences such as dyslexia, dyscalculia, or dysgraphia
 -
Cognitive strengths and weaknesses, including gifted placement eligibility
 -
Emotional or behavioral challenges at home or school
 -
Difficulties with processing, memory, learning, and recall

These assessments not only identify areas where your child is struggling but also highlight their strengths. The results can guide educational planning, treatment recommendations, and connect you with outside resources that support your child’s growth.
Even if your child has already been evaluated through their school, a private neuropsychological evaluation takes a closer, more personalized look at how your child is doing across all areas of learning and development.
Please note: Devonshire Pediatric Neuropsychology is a private pay practice. Superbills can be provided upon request for families seeking out-of-network reimbursement.
Why Families Choose Me
I hear from parents every day about the stress of waiting months for answers, the frustration of meetings where their child feels unseen, and the uncertainty of not knowing what comes next.

Here is how I approach things differently:
Timely Answers
Waiting months for clarity is stressful. I keep my practice free of long wait lists so you can get answers sooner and begin supporting your child right away.
Teacher & Clinician Insight
With experience in both teaching and clinical practice, I see the full picture of your child. My recommendations are practical, realistic, and meaningful at home and in the classroom.
Whole-Child Approach
I look beyond test scores to understand your child as a whole person. Every assessment highlights strengths and challenges and includes clear next steps and resources for your family.
